About McGrath Quarter Horses

Kevin McGrath of McGrath Quarter Horses, LLC first bred performance quarter horses in the 1980s. After a hiatus from the quarter horse industry, Kevin, with a lot of help from his daughter Vika, and the support of his wife Molly, returned to breeding quarter horses.

Kevin searched for and found Mitos Magic Moment, a daughter of Kevin's all-time favorite mare, Ms Jerri Jaguar. Magic, is a superior western pleasure producer, producer of futurity winners, and is the dam of Goodbars Glamourgirl, the mother of Congress champion Cool Assets.

McGrath Quarter Horses also has mares by world class sires Zippo Jack Bar, Luke At Me, Hot N Blazing, and Radical Rodder.

Our mares and foals benefit from the great care provided by Nancy-Sue Ryan at Show Stop Farm (www.showstopfarm.com) in Nocona, Texas. 
At home, Vika shows Mr Investment Asset at AQHA and Open shows in Minnesota and Wisconsin.  Vika works with Rebecca Dennis as her trainer and coach.  Rebecca also works with our yearlings and now has a 2 year old raised by McGrath Quarter Horses started under saddle. Another McGrath bred 2 year old is being started by Rick Klaus.
